Jakub taught us some important dates and events regarding the History of Poland, mainly the Golden Age of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. This is the Power Point presentation used as the basis of his lesson. Furthermore, the video depicts one of the most famous Polish military units, the Hussars.

Today it's been our first day together and we've celebrated it with a nice show at school, including both, music and dances. The latter is the universal -same- language which keeps us together and makes us be a great family.
Later on, we've been able to meet the Mayor of Barakaldo, who has addressed us a very positive speech. After this first important meeting, we've been shown Barakaldo and its most meaningful and historical places, as well as Portugalete. In short, a great success!
Enclosed are also some pictures depicting San Vicente church in Barakaldo and the famous bridge of Portugalete (a sort of transporter bridge consisting on a suspended ferry).

Today, we've been able to meet some Polish friends through Skype. Despite the connection problems, it's been a wonderful experience to see each other and to share our different traditions and customs regarding the Christmas time. There have been Christmas carols too!
