Meeting with the Mayor on Barakaldo TELE 7 TV
Today it's been our first day together and we've celebrated it with a nice show at school, including both, music and dances. The latter is the universal -same- language which keeps us together and makes us be a great family.
Later on, we've been able to meet the Mayor of Barakaldo, who has addressed us a very positive speech. After this first important meeting, we've been shown Barakaldo and its most meaningful and historical places, as well as Portugalete. In short, a great success!

Enclosed are also some pictures depicting San Vicente church in Barakaldo and the famous bridge of Portugalete (a sort of transporter bridge consisting on a suspended ferry).

Amongst the different activities which are going to be carried out during the first Comenius meeting, there is a special one: a ZUMBA performance (a kind of short course) organized by Ola Spitalniak and Dominika Glinkowska, two dancers who know everything about this dance, which involves many elements like fitness, aerobic, salsa, rumba, hip-hop...

Barakaldo online newspaper announces the visit!
"Barakaldo Digital", the local online newspaper, announces the visit of our Polish friends. They will arrive on Wednesday and we all are very happy and looking forward to sharing several wonderful days with them. The final countdown has already started! Welcome!

A few days ago we got the plan of activities that we will do in Barakaldo. It' very interesting, because we will visit Bilbao, San Sebastian, San Juan de Gaztelugatxe and other places.
We can't wait to meet you and your families. For many of us this is the first time when we go to another country by plane only with friends and teachers. I know that it will be an unforgettable experience and we will spend a wonderful time.
We met during winter holidays and discussed all the details connected with the journey to Spain and our stay in Barakaldo.
We are looking forward to seeing you!!
