Mikel Jimenez and his memories of Ostrów

Two weeks ago I said goodbye to my Polish friends. Now I can see my flag of Poland and I remember all the activities that we have done: the visit of Warsaw (the first day), the amazing Częstochowa, the important Wadowice, the beautiful Kraków, the incredible Wroclaw, and of course, all the activities that we did in the school and in Ostrów. Remembering all that we have done I miss you a lot. I miss learning Polish in school, I miss Kuba’s family, I miss making barbecues, I miss walking around Ostrów…

What can I say about Ostrów? Ostrów is our new home. It’s the house of our new family. It’s a place that we will never forget. With this project we have made a big family, an unforgettable friendship, it has been an amazing experience. It hasn’t finished, Comenius continues. In September we are going to say hello again, and in January goodbye definitely. Definitely? No. This family is forever.

The only word that I can say in the end of the project is thank you. Thanks to Kuba for opening his house, thanks to the teachers who work hard in this project, thanks to everybody because this experience can’t be the same without you. Now I have to say goodbye, but not forever. I am sure that in the future our ways are going to be connected again. I must say one word before finishing the article. One beautiful word, one amazing word, one word that reviews this experience and that I’m not going to forget: NIESPODZIANKA.
