We came to Barakaldo, to our Basque friends. Before the visit in Spain all of us were nervous and wondering what kind of people would be our friends. It turned out that they are very sociable, talkative and friendly people.
It was amazing time for everyone. During this visit we saw a lot of interesting places and monuments e.g. Gernika, San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, Museum of Peace, Mundaka. We had a lot of opportunities to get to know each other through working in groups .We made new friends, got to know new culture- Basque culture and we brushed up on our English.
Saying goodbye is not easy, so at the airport most of us were crying. Anyway, there is another chance to meet friends from Barakaldo. They will come to us in June. I hope that friendships will last for years.
