Spanish teachers in our school, by Piotr Płonka‏

Our school has a partner school in Spain. This is a Salesian school in Barakaldo. Two teachers came to our school from Spain to work on the project and to meet us. They were with us from the 24th to the 28th of October 2013.

On Friday, the 25th October Oscar and Sergio came to our mornig meeting „slowko”. They and our teachers were having speeches, then our students were dancing and singing to show them our talents. After that we could take part on special lectures. Sergio taught us Basque language and Oscar told us about the history of the Second World War. It was very interesting for me.

At the weekend Sergio and Oscar were seightseeing with our English teachers. We met again on Monday to say good bye and to thank them for the visit. They were very happy to be in our school and gave sister Dorota a special black Basque cap with Polish and Basque flags on it.

After the meeting they went along our school. I had the chance to talk to them in English. Two hours later they went back to Spain.

I decided to start writing E-Mails with a friend from Spain. I think, it is a good idea.
